City Bay Capital's commercial real estate distressed debt advisory business assists borrowers and other stakeholders in analyzing, negotiating, and helping resolve distressed situations. Our approach is based on in depth financial analysis of why situations occurred, educating all parties on the situation, and working towards a practical and amicable resolution for all parties.
In addition, we can utilize City Bay Funding LLC's direct lending platform and capital markets expertise to assist in recapitalizing deals as they complete the work-out process. The current tightening of the capital markets requires a keen understanding of how to best exit the distressed situation.
Our background in loan origination, loan underwriting, forensic accounting, dispute resolution, capital markets, acquisitions, asset management, partnership agreement negotiation, market analysis, economic analysis, litigation administration, commercial real estate industry knowledge, and investigations give us a unique frame of reference that most attorneys and finance professions do not have. We can be described as "having seen it all", and understand why deals go bad and what is needed to fix them.
